Triangle Business Journal / Tazza Kitchen aims to bring ‘dinner vibe’ to Cameron Village
When Tazza Kitchen opens in spot where Café Caturra used to sit, it will bring more of a dinner atmosphere to that side of Cameron Village.
“We are well underway,” says Jeff Grant, one of the owners. “Construction is moving along quite nicely.”
While Grant is converting the space from one restaurant to another, he says there is no connection between the two. “Tazza is so different that we want to draw a very stark contrast between the two,” he says, calling Café Caturra a soup “salad and sandwich, lunch-oriented place,” while “Tazza’s is a full-blown dinner experience. … We really felt that in Cameron Village, there is a good opportunity for a dinner spot, with the type of atmosphere and vibe that we are trying to bring.”
