Richmond Times-Dispatch / Tazza Kitchen Opening on Southside

More good news for Southside diners – Tazza Kitchen is opening in the former Belle Vie space 1244 Alverser Plaza, across from Chesterfield Towne Center. Belle Vie closed in May after five years in business.

The Southside spot will be the fifth Tazza location in the country.
Tazza Kitchen opened its flagship restaurant in Short Pump at 3332 Pump Road just over a year ago. There are now locations in Raleigh, Columbia, S.C. and an Arlington spot, which opened two weeks ago.

The restaurant serves small plates, wood-fired pizzas, seafood and other entrées with a Mediterranean flare. Check out the menu here.
Former Richmond Times-Dispatch critic Dana Craig gave the restaurant four stars in her 2013 review. It was one of only four places to receive a four-star rating from her that year.
